OMC Menopause Cafe March 2024 – (Peri)menopause & Bladder Health

OMC Menopause Cafe  – (Peri)menopause and Bladder Health – March 2024

From hot flushes to flutters of anxiety, perimenopause brings with it a plethora of symptoms. Bladder leaks are a common symptom for women during this phase of our lives, and that’s because as we move through perimenopause, our oestrogen levels drop and our pelvic floor weakens.

March’s OMC Menopause Cafe on Thursday 7th March 12.30-1.30pm was hosted by Dr Laila Kaikavoosi and Peony Li, Founder and CEO of Jude.

Jude is a community-focussed healthcare company who are on a mission to normalise bladder leaks and tackle the taboo around bladder care.

In this session, Peony and Dr Laila will discuss the science behind why leaks and overactive bladder (OAB) occur and the various treatment options that are available; from prescription medicines to natural preventative solutions, and holistic measures such as nutrition and superfoods that are proven to reduce urinary issues.

OMC’s Menopause Cafe is open and free to attend for all OMC Patients, friends, and family but numbers are limited so please register early to avoid disappointment.
