OMC Menopause Cafe  – (Peri)menopause and Sleep – November 2023


Disrupted sleep affects 84% of women going through (peri)menopause and this often has a negative impact on their daily lives. A poor sleep pattern can influence our ability to think clearly and solve problems, but it can also impact our emotional stability, immune system and eating patterns.

 

OMC Menopause Cafe’s on Sleep and Menopause on Thursday 30th November was hosted by Dr Mary-Jane Budd, Chartered Psychologist and Performance & Wellbeing Coach from Embrace Change Coaching. In this Menopause Cafe, Mary-Jane covered the following aspects of sleep and the (peri)menopause:
