Weight gain and weight management are two of the most common questions we get asked by our patients at OMC; and that’s because almost every woman going through (peri)menopause will experience a change in their body shape.

With that in mind, we are dedicating April’s Menopause Cafe to (Peri)menopause and Weight Management to help shed some light on this area of menopause and answer all your burning questions.

Hosted by OMC’s Naturopath, Dr Vera Martins, this Cafe will cover the factors that play a significant role in weight management including fluctuations in female hormone levels, genetics, hunger hormones, stress levels and sleep.

Dr Martins is a Naturopath and Herbalist with a PhD in Biology, and a Lifestyle Medicine Certified practitioner.
